Three Co-Founders:

Mathew Paisner is the CEO/Co-Founder of AltruHelp and recently completed his MBA at the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business in Entrepreneurship. He is the recipient of the 2012 Graduate Student “Changemaker” Award for Social Innovation. At Babson, Mathew was the Student Director of the Babson Board Fellows Program, which places top MBA students on the boards of local nonprofits. Mathew is an Advisory Board Member for the Lewis Institute of Social Innovation & was named a Finalist in both the 2010 & 2011 MIT Sloan International MBA Technology Sales Competition sponsored by Microsoft.

Prior to Babson, Mathew worked in Product Management at OppenheimerFunds, where he oversaw their $20 billion taxable fixed income mutual fund product line and increased sales of mutual funds by more than $300 million. Previously, Mathew also worked as a Fixed Income Specialist on the Analytics Desk at Bloomberg and completed a summer analyst program at Morgan Stanley in 2006. He is a FINRA Registered Representative holding the Series 7 & 63 Licenses as well as the Bloomberg Fixed Income & Equity Certifications. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Communications & Entrepreneurship from Syracuse University and a certificate in Fixed Income Portfolio Mgmt from NYU. Mathew was one of ten Syracuse students to receive the D’Aniello Entrepreneurial Intern Designation in 2007.  He is an active Big Brother/Mentor in the BigBrothersBigSisters Organization and is extremely passionate about galvanizing social entrepreneurship. 

Antoinne Machal-Cajigas is the COO/Co-Founder for AltruHelp and Antoinne Machal-Cajigas an electrical engineer at Raytheon focused on radar communication technology. His previous work experience includes Software/Component Engineering and Project Management. Antoinne obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Management from MIT in 2007 and a Masters degree in Engineering from MIT in 2009. He was a HENACC Scholar from 04-06 and won the Harvard Medical School Hope Award in 2004. Antoinne currently holds a Six Sigma Specialist Certification. He enjoys volunteering with the Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Boston and is a firm believer in not having to choose between profit and purpose.

Michael Saris obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Entrepreneurship & Emerging Enterprises from Syracuse University in 2007 where he helped build and develop the South Side Innovation Center, a business incubator for local Syracuse start-ups. After leaving Syracuse, Michael worked as a real estate agent for Boston’s Best realty and started his first company, Metro Development, where he designed and managed a successful residential development project in Newton, MA. In 2009, Michael and a partner co-founded Boston’s Luxury Properties (BLP) located in Kenmore Square. The company focuses on Boston high-end residential property management, sales/rentals, and leasing. Michael oversaw client relations, marketing and human capital for BLP. He designed an innovative employee-training program and managed eight full-time real-estate agents. Michael is currently Co-Founder and full-time Director of Human Capital & Product Management for AltruHelp. He enjoys volunteering at Community Servings and loves helping others succeed.

The A-TEAM:

Robert Vainshtein is involved in the Communications and Social Media elements of AltruHelp.  He is currently a research consultant, and a political and communications strategist.  He managed a Massachusetts State House campaign in 2010, and previously worked as an associate at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner, a leading political consulting firm in Washington, D.C.  His consulting assignments included developing policy and public outreach strategies for President Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia, former Prime Minister Ehud Barak of Israel, Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner fleet, and Bank of Georgia, a multinational investment bank. Robert was also a legal affairs associate at the International Peace Operations Association, where his reporting on legal issues affecting private security contractors was cited by the RAND Corporation and a number of law journals. Robert graduated from Cornell University in 2007 with a degree in history.  He received Cornell’s Freeman Prize in Peace Studies and is a Senior Fellow with the Humanity In Action Foundation.

Mathew English serves as AltruHelp’s Director of Non-Profit Relations and is also pursuing an M.A. in Economics from Northeastern. Matt’s career as a volunteer and non-profit professional began as an undergraduate at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania where he served in AmeriCorps. Since then his life of service has taken him from the coasts of post-Katrina Mississippi, to the humid jungles of Guatemala, and many fantastic places in-between. Most recently he served as the AmeriCorps Program Associate with Playworks where he managed a wide array of administrative duties while also instilling an ethic of community service in a new generation of Playworks AmeriCorps members. Matt was recently selected to serve on the AmeriCorps Alumni Board for Boston and believes in the power of community service to bring people together as deep down everyone wants to do good.

Reginald S. is a Social Media Video Manager for AltruHelp. He is an independent animator/film maker who most recently won the 2011 Atlas Shrugged Video Award, appearing on the Fox Business Network’s Stossel Show to talk about his winning video. His documentary on Rwandan Street Kids and his animations have received finalist and semi-finalist recognition at multiple international film festivals. Reginald received the ASIFA Animation Award for being the top student in animation at Dartmouth College and the Samuel E. Aronowitz Prize for outstanding ethical conduct during his Tucker Humanitarian Development Project in Rwanda. Most recently, Reginald has created animated commercials for national brands including Ehealth.com, the National Association of Federal Credit Unions, and Qwest Communications International. He obtained a B.A. in philosophy from Dartmouth College in 2009.

Jordan Barker is managing the implementation of AltruHelp’s Corporate Relations strategy. He is a 2007 Cum Laude graduate of the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.  Jordan currently focuses on retail leasing and new business development for Crown Acquisitions, a leading building owner and developer in New York City.  Jordan is known for his creativity, persistence, and ability to connect with corporations.  Previously, Jordan was employed by Newmark Knight Frank where he was part of a team that brought in over $1,000,000 in commissions in just 1 year.  Prior to attending college, Jordan built a successful business as a magician, performing at local and national restaurants, childrens’ parties and private events.  Through aggressive marketing over a 3 year period, Jordan was able to increase his rates from a $30 to $200 per hour, netting in over $50,000 in revenue.
