Summer IMPACT Networking For Charity

AIN Summer 2012 Impact Report

On July 10th AltruHelp hosted the second annual IMPACT Networking Event For Charity at the Microsoft N.E.R.D. Center in Cambridge, MA. Over 100 philanthropic Bostonians came together to enjoy a fun evening of speed-volunteering and networking to support the local non-profit community and increasing Millenial (ages 16-29) volunteersim. The attendees ranged from college and graduate students to accountants, lawyers, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders and more.

Over the course of just 2 hours, attendees created tremendous community IMPACT while enjoying food and drinks from our amazing corporate sponsors. JumpstartHere is a snapshot of the impact generated:

We would like to thank our corporate sponsors including MicrosoftZipcarFoley & LardnerEventbriteBolocoJohnny CupcakesScrubaDubJ.P. Licks, and more (see full list below).

A core component of AltruHelp’s mission is to create a space, virtual and physical, for people to come together, serve their communities, and make value-based connections while having fun.  IMPACT Networking was designed to bring our online model (Altruhelp.com) offline to increase Millennial volunteerism and reinforce a lasting culture of service. We would like to thank the many volunteers and organizations, both corporate and non-profit (see list below), who helped make this event a success. We would also like to thank MassChallenge for their continued support. Please check out pictures from the event on Facebook and consider following us on Twitter. Our next IMPACT Networking Event won’t be far off, don’t miss the opportunity to get involved by requesting an invitation on AltruHelp.com.
